I don't ride a H-D but I wear a pair of H-D boots when I ride my bike. I figure that they were made for the riggers of motorcycle riding. One of the most notable things about Harley-Davidson is their marketing system. Sales of clothes, license plates, ash trays, furniture are all ancillary sources of income as well as giving the Harley-Davidson high profile.
