I have a set of Rinehart Racing pipes on my 2003 Sportster. Everyone tells me it's extremely loud, but I haven't heard that yet - you know how different things sound ON the bike.

Mine is built up too, compression makes a difference in sound - so do the cams. But I like it a lot, so do other people - the people who don't like it, don't matter.

I bought, cut up, and built a sweet two into one pipe for mine from a Buell - Looked effing awesome too. But I got the Rineharts because I love the fat pipe look and black tips - heard they sounded killer and they do.

My stock pipes with the baffles drilled out pissed off a guy I knew because my Sporty sounded better than his BIG TWIN with Screamin' Eagle!!

I seen one the other day looked like a guy took his rain gutter off the side of his house and mounted it on his motor. No really there are a ton of exhuasts for that series all depends on what style you want.... you really must have no clue, there are hundreds upon hundreds of custom built pipes around for that bike

Have heard good things about the Cobra's...I myself have Vance and Hines and wish I had something louder as well.

Good luck, will be watching to see what else gets posted.
Kinda in the same boat as you.
