So my best friend and parents can't afford to throw my baby shower, so my boyfriends parents stepped in and are throwing it. I know they're doing it at a hall which is already going to cost them 400 dollars for the day or more, then all the decorations, food, and invitations... they're spending a lot of money on me. I want to show them how appreciative I am and get them something really nice for doing that for me. They like to do things out together, they both like motorcycles and harley davidson stuff (but theyve got a million clothes and accessories and stuff from them) they have 2 english mastiffs they love to death... so anyone have any creative ideas of what I could do for them? Sure I could take them out to dinner or something predictable like that, but I'm looking for something special and creative that will surprise them and show them gratitude. Thanks!

i want an all black bong with a harley davidson sign on it.. dont even think about critizing me or marijuana.. your not hardcore with the keyboard mmk? anyway can anyone help me find a cool site to buy some really sweet bongs? and pipes?

I need @ least shower curtain, bath set, & wall hangings with Harley Davidson Motorcycle logo. Looked at JC Penney and on some of internet....more help needed!!!!

I just bought a Harley Davidson Sportster and i love it but I cant seem to find too many places online that sell accessories for it. I am looking for some good websites that sell aftermarket parts and accessories. But what i am really looking for is side mirrors that stick out farther than the stock ones to see around me better. All i can really see is the side of the road and not behind me. Any help is appreciated, thanks
i dont care about the bad boy appearance if it means safety, i wont look to bad ass in a coffin, i need to be able to see behind me so use trumps appearance

I'd like to get his e-mail address, if you have it. They don't have an e-mail link at the Buell or H-D websites. I believe it is because they would get a trunk load of grief about how much H-D dealerships and sales people hate the Buell bikes. Hide 'em in the back. Don't know the prices. Haven't ridden them. Hate them. Think they are stupid. Don't know the accessories. Can't sell, won't sell, lower seats (Buells are WAY too tall). The dealerships hate them, won't EVER let you ride one, don't want to service them and generally should not be selling them. I think Buell should buy their motors from someone else and get rid of H-D. Of course, I can't complain to Erik Buell because he's hiding somewhere. If you agree, post your answer below. If you know how to get in touch with him, please share.

Pleas let me know how much you think it's worth
I;m not sure why, but some people think I'm selling this bike. No, I'm thinking about buying it

I've been in the market for another Rolex and I met a guy that offered to sell me his Rolex submariner Harley model for ,000. That's about 65% too cheap for a fairly new rolex so I knew something was wrong. On top of that he was a Sportster rider so I knew he couldn't afford a real Rolex. When I got home I found this: http://www.watchcartel.com/item.php?item_id=357 I'm pretty sure the watch Mr. Sportster had was a fake as well. But my question is, surely the fake has to be based on a real model - where can I get a real one? Submariner models are about ,000 now, and there's probably a premium for having the Harley name next to the Rolex name (two of the best companies in the world!). Anybody know where I can get one? I'm thinking it'd be the perfect accessory to go with my Road King - especially on hot days when I only wear my HD leather vest and go sleaveless.
This is a serious question. For those of you who ride sportsters or can't appreciate the quality and workmanship of a Rolex (because you can't afford one), please don't reply. I realize guys like maddog and snoop are unemployable and have nothing better to do in between watching Dr. Phil and Oprah, but please, I need real answers here folks.
Honda Mad Tony - go loose myself? Here's a tip: loose is what everyone in the trailer park says your mom is. Lose is the word you were looking for.
Sid - I'd love to meet up with you at Sturgis (unless you ride a POS Sportster). Give me a call - 415 267-6999

I want to sell them but there is such a wide range of prices on the Harley site and I don't see any close enough to what I have to made a good guess. I want to be sure I ask a fair price.

are there any of you out there who have NOT bought any H-D accessories? You know, shirts, wallets etc. Not acc's for the bike itself.

I don't blame you guys
I would be upset too if my 2005-2006 HD with low miles and with 00 in added accessories took it to a HD Dealer and asked for a trade in price on a new bike and was only offered 00!
I know how you feel
you bought a HD because of the high resale value, and if you try to sell to yourself in the classified adds nobody is going to buy it cause they don't have that much cash on hand.
I really feel for you guys, the only thing that's sensible to do is to keep your Harley and hope in the future the economy improves and your bike goes up in value

I just purchased my first Harley Sportster, and wanted to know where to go to find price comparisons on parts I need to order. I'm a female so I'm scared of going to the local shops and getting taken advantage of. They see a lady walking in and know right away I'm a newbie. I just need to know where to go so I can get the real facts on what these parts should cost. Is there even such a place??? Help I've already been taken for once and I'm not even certain what the heck I purchased!

and can still be referred to as "Made in America" then I'm thinking a Honda Gold Wing currently assembled in Marysville, Ohio from many, many foreign parts can also be called "American made"...right?

I heard that many harley parts are made overseas, and not in the good old U.S.of A.

I have an 1983 75th anniversary of the V twin Harley Davidson black powder pistol. there were 5000 made I do not know how many were sold. It is in the origanal shipping cartton, the certified letter from Harley saying that the fire arm may not be legal in all states, the 1984 Fashion and Accessory catalog that the pistol was listed in, and all the related items that came with the pistol. Can any one tell me what this pistol would be worth, and it is for sale.
Thanks George

I will be getting my first Harley and I want to know what I'm working with and what I'm talking about. When someone asks me what kind of air cleaner I've got or what engine I'm running (which are just a couple things I know) I want to know what they are talking about and how to answer. Also, I want to know what & where each part is so I know what I'm looking at. . . Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any information you may be able to give. . .:o)

Please dont say the harley will keep getting leaks and parts will fall off because its just not true.

But which one is better performance wise based on each companies reputation today and not the past?

While looking thru catalogs and on-line I noticed the model years go like this; 95-2003 then 2005-2007. 2004 is not usually listed. I am particularly interested in forward controls.

I have a 2008 FLHRC - I bought this kit, but the instructions are missing. its a Harley Engine/Transmission Interface and Top Cover Kit. Can anyone help please ?
Thanx

I have a job interview tomorrow to be a parts counter guy for a Harley Davidson dealership. I don't know much, just basic mechanical stuff. I do like Harleys of course. I'll replace my 84 Shadow with one when I get the money. What would be good to know before I go?
I'm on wikipedia reading about engines, model designations and families now.

not too many harley dealers in my parts so im looking for other means...also looking for numbers on Cross Reference for headlight bulb have heard there others besides harley davidson.

If someone wasn't an expert and was rebuilding or restoring an old Harley, like a Knucklehead, are there any parts or pieces that might be easy to mistakenly put on backward, upside down, or wrong without realizing?

It doesn't really matter what part of the bike it is, or whether or not it would affect how the bike runs (or doesn't) as long as an expert, looking at it would be able to tell right away.
