For Harley Fuel injected Bikes what is the best route to go with the O2 sensors and pipes?
I have an 08 Night train an need to know what to do about the O2 sensors. What EFI unit should I use, I need the best way to go. I plan on buying Yaffe X-Pipes do they have O2 sensor ports?
If you don’t care about the warranty then you can use anything you want.
But if you do care about the warranty, then you will need to find some pipes (Yaffe’s web site says they won’t work) with O2 bungs and mufflers (to increase performance without any flat spots in the power band) (drag pipes, strait pipes or whatever else you want to call them kill performance) and wait for a couple of months for Harley to come out with Race tuner for the 2008 model year. Please have the bike tuned on a dyno also.
I know that people are not going to like this answer because there are aftermarket tuning kits for Harley’s. But other tuners will void the motor warranty and you should know this before you do something to void it.
