		<description>The two differences have to do with peg clearance and the rear mounting.
    If you've got forwards, no problems with pegs, if you've got mids make sure you pipes won't run into your pegs.You can usually tell just by looking at a photo in the catalog.
     As far as the rear mounting, a hunk of 1/4&#34; aluminum plate is like magic, easy to work with and polishes up real pretty. You can make your own adapter plate easily.

     My girl friends FXR has Vance and Hines Softail pipes on it and my dog's Sportster has Dyna pipes on it.
