An o2 sensor is an integral part of a closed loop injection system. If you remove the sensor, the ECM will recognize that the sensor is missing and you’ll have a DTC code to deal with. The closed loop system operates during cruising mode, not during heavy acceleration or deceleration, so your EFI will always be in open loop mode.
It’s sort of like driving a car with no mirrors. Yes, you can drive it but it won’t be right.
If you want to remove the sensor to install it in new pipes, follow the wire back to the connector, unplug the connector, then unscrew the sensor from the pipe. Screw the sensor into the new pipe and reconnect the wire.
Please do not try to run any closed loop EFI without the o2 sensor.
What are xieds? If you remove the sensors, could get your self into BIG trouble. Most bashers don’t know much, that’s why you get answers like that guy above me.

take it to a crusher and just stick the half with sensor in.

wtf are xied’s?
you can’t run without O2 sensors, won’t run right. may as well look for an s&s carb right now
