I just Bought some true dual exhaust pipes can you explain what true dual exhaust means?

   True dual exhaust are pipes that connect to one of the two cylinder heads, each pipe expels the gases from its own cylinders. What we normally see with dual exhaust is a crossover pipe sitting between the exhaust pipes, the intention
   of the crossover is to keep equal pressure and temperature

   With true dual exhausts, there is a computer chip program in the system, that balances the exhaust equally to the two different pipes. You will notice that with most pipes, there is a cross over pipe, and if they weren’t true duals, there is the possibility that one exhaust pipe might expel more of the exhaust than the other. with the computer system, it ensures that the amounts are equal. Not something that you would want to install yourself, unless you can set the computer system up as well.
