Im looking for a harley davidson iron 883, drag bars and some type of custom pipes also. anybody help?
i've seen tons of regular plain old iron 883's out there for sale but im looking to buy one with some minor custom work. im looking for something with drag bars for sure and not stock exhaust. but other than that stock or would it just be better for me to buy a new one and put those on myself i guess i'd rather just go the easy way.
Buy a new one!!! You can have whatever you want done and have it put on the loan as well….AND if you have HD parts put on at the time you buy it, IT IS ALL COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. It’s easier, quicker and cheaper in the long run…..talk to a dealer, the salespeople will do whatever they can to help you and get the bike done the YOU want it, not the way someone else wanted it, causing you to change it for your own taste.
Besides that, buying new, you’re helping stimulate the economy.
EDIT: "GRIFF"’s parts, if they are actually "900" parts…..are WAY, WAY, WAY OFF from what you need….the 900 wwas actually a Sportster………….pre-1970’s era……….
What year does he think this is?
Sheesh
Don’t buy a new one. I have a ton of old 900 parts.
Since the Iron 883 came out recently, it may be hard to buy used. Harley has a deal on now that if you buy a new Sportster and want to trade it up within the next year, you get 100% what you paid for it originally. Get a new one and modify it, if you like it keep it, and if you wanna go bigger, trade! Plenty of used PARTS out there for sale…
