You can have whatever you want done and have it put on the loan as well....AND if you have HD parts put on at the time you buy it, IT IS ALL COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. It's easier, quicker and cheaper in the long run.....talk to a dealer, the salespeople will do whatever they can to help you and get the bike done the YOU want it, not the way someone else wanted it, causing you to change it for your own taste. Besides that, buying new, you're helping stimulate the economy. EDIT: "GRIFF"'s parts, if they are actually "900" parts.....are WAY, WAY, WAY OFF from what you need....the 900 wwas actually a Sportster.............pre-1970's era.......... Harley has a deal on now that if you buy a new Sportster and want to trade it up within the next year, you get 100% what you paid for it originally.
