Pleas let me know how much you think it's worth
I;m not sure why, but some people think I'm selling this bike. No, I'm thinking about buying it

I've just been told that I wasted my money because I voided the warantee by putting on vance&heins exhausts. The Harley people themselves put them on telling me how much better the bike would sound! Well, they were right there but what about my warantee? I get too many mixed messages on this subject.

I have a 2001 HD Road King. What are the pros & cons on 2 into 1exhaust , compaired to True Dual Exhaust? Does it increase torque, horse power?? Experienced replies encouraged.

I just bought and picked up my 2009 Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide Custom in blue pearl. Now after about 500 miles i'm going to change the stock pipe. I'm considering the V&H Big Radius 2 to 2 pipes. There going to run me about 0 but I like the slick style and the sharp ends. Right now i'm content witht the power, but i want to crank up the volume and get that mean badass harley sound. With a Screamin Eagle heavy breather, and some V&H Big Radius 2 to 2 pipes will the bike be rumbling.... I also plan to put 12.5" mini apes on the bike which i'll probablu do before anything but Right now those 3 things are as far as my budget goes. I know you can buy fuel packs etc but I'm limited to what I can spend. So with a Screamin Eagle heavy breather, V&H Big radius, and some mini apes will that fit well on the bike? Any suggestions? Mabe forget the heavy breather and add a fuel pack or something like that, IDk help me out....

The old exhaust mount runs through the swing arm mount, on a huge (inch an 1/8 - I'm guessing) bolt. If I take this off - do I need to put soime kind of a spacer in its place & how the heck do i get the bolt out?

I will be getting my first Harley and I want to know what I'm working with and what I'm talking about. When someone asks me what kind of air cleaner I've got or what engine I'm running (which are just a couple things I know) I want to know what they are talking about and how to answer. Also, I want to know what & where each part is so I know what I'm looking at. . . Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any information you may be able to give. . .:o)

Iv been told 120mph all the way up to 160mph
Just because you overpaid dosent make it fast
A couple of LOUD briggs & stratton cylinders
What a joke!!!!!!
Yes Iv been riding metric cycles for 17 years and proud of it! Not 1 ticket Not 1 accident.

I am fixing on purchasing my first harley... a Black denim FXDF "Fat Bob". One of the things that they emphasize is the Tommy Gun 2 to 1 to 2 exhaust. I started one this weekend and it sounds like a pussycat. So I have been toying with the idea of sticking some V&H Black Short Shots on...once I get the bike of course. Opinions?
Adjustments...can I just add a power box to it so it will self adjust.
ha ha...I will be running the exhaust with baffles in, I do like loud pipes but it shouldnt be painful to the rider or the guy 3 blocks away.

Bub pipes don't have a pre-drilled hole for baffles. I'm guessing about 1-1 1/2 inch.
While loud pipes save lives and sound good, you need the back pressure for performance. Without baffles, you loose 5-10% HP; carbon up the ends of your pipes & don't burn fuel efficiently causing the 'pop'/flames out of your pipes. Baffles cut down the noise only about 5 decibels & cops leave ya alone if they can verify you have them in your exhaust.

I am from New Mexico and I need to know where I can start buying parts for a Harley. I dont have the money to buy one off the lot, so I decided to bulid my own. My dad and his buddys have been on me for a while to start putting one together, (thats how most of them got started back in the day) and I dont know where to find used parts,or even a non running bike to work with? everywhere I look all I can find is S&S, or some high dollar shiny crap, or new Harley parts. is there a type of swap meet on line or something. twice a year around here there is a bike week that you can buy stuff but I want to start looking now. Thanks for any advise. Im sick of staying home, or being the tail vehicle during runs.
