whats the resale value of the stock exhaust pipes and mufflers and mounting brackets for 2005 sportster 883 low
less than 15 miles use. with no scratches

I have Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts that are all for models 2000 and later. Some of these parts are for Softails.There is everything from exhaust pipes to handlegrips. A great percentage of these parts have never been used, and all of them are exactly like new. It appears that the years and miles have put residue at the point where my mufflers attach to the exhaust pipes. I cannot get this bond to break loose and don't want to tear up my system trying to get them off the pipes. Thanks for any assistance.

I've just obtained a Harley Davidson and the pipes are badly weathered and have rust ALL over them. I'm new to motorcyles and know little about this kind of stuff. What is a good way to remove lots of rust from the chrome on the exhaust pipes?
