Well here we go...
Anytime you change the exhaust on a motorcycle you need to have it re-tuned so as not to loose power, or overheat, or damage engine tc.
Harley knows this which is why they sell screaming eagle exhaust matched with a remap cost to re tune. they already have this set up. Buy that from them.
You don't want a cheap seat as it will hurt your butt and you wont ride, Mustang seats and corbin seats are the only seats i recommend other then orig mfgs.
pegs and fwd controls, http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/Harley.cfm is the place to go, also have saddle bags. However auburn leather in auburn ky does a great job, and prices are fair.

Some people will not agree, but I have the best luck on ebay. There are tons of take-offs from other models of HD that may fit. There are also tons of parts that come from salvage bikes. I try not to think about the fact that some of the parts might be stolen though. That part does bother me.

When I was looking for a luggage rack for my old Roadking, the guy emailed me and offered several other parts free of charge. I think I ended up paying about $75.00 for a box of gear that would have cost me $500.00 at the dealer.

I also just ordered a lot if items for my gixxer from ebay. I got the factory service manual, complete set of EBC brakes, tool kit, and 4 spare headlights. That was nearly $300.00 worth of parts that were still new in the package. I paid $20.00 for it.

There is always a risk I guess, but I have bought and sold probably 100 things through ebay and never gotten burned once.

I think I get nearly as much pleasure out of finding deals as I do puting the stuff on my bike.

Good luck.

(Rockbase is dead on with his advice. I just like scoring a deal on that stuff used.)

Good answers above.
I don't do Ebay. I search the local shops instead. I got lucky.
My mufflers had been ordered by someone who never came back.
I paid a pittance.

Sorry, I'm still LOL!!!!
Exhaust and pegs for the chick, forwards for the bike.......
thought you were gettin' a little kinky.

Ride it stock for a bit, unless you got cash burning a hole in your pocket. When you change the exhaust you will want to re-tune it.
The newer bikes are expensive to modify.
