That one drove me nuts. It is the muffler hanger(s). It’s made of rubber and it will chirp like crazy. The quickest way to check it is to spray WD-40, with the straw attached, into the slot where the metal tab goes into the rubber.
If you mean a type of squeek sound, then it is probably a loose fit in one of the muffler clamps. If it is a sound similar to what the old volkswagon beetles made, it is due to the exhaust passing thru the muffler on the factory pipes. if so, I cant tell you whether it will go away since I changed mine out shortly after buying the bike, then modified the baffles to get just the sound I wanted. The stock pipes did have that little chirping sound when I first bought it.
Probably just the pathetic whimper of that massively overweight, underpowered engine being forced to push 800 pounds of Chinese chrome and aftermarket accessories and another 500 pounds of fat white trash
Not too sure what type of exhaust you have, but it is a common problem on the Kawasaki KLR 650 that the baffles deteriorate in the exhaust and if you take a long screwdriver and poke a few holes deep in the main exhaust outlet it will open up the channel and the tweeting sound will go away. I wouldn’t try this on your muffler unless I was planning to replace it with an aftermarket exhaust system.
Might have sucked a Honda in the carb.

I agree, Drag pipes will fix the problem. Get a set of Ground pounders and your problems are solved.

it is the squirrels in the engine telling you they need to be fed.
Sell the Harley and get a GoldWing that way you can ride in style and still blow the fenders off any Harley on the road.
