What is the best thing to use to get rust off of chrome pipes?
I have small rust pits in the chrome of my pipes on my harley. I don't want to have to buy new pipes right now, so if anyone has any knowledge on the matter, please share it with me.

there is this stuff called simichrome and it works, I have used it for years, you can buy it at a good parts store

I’m sure theres an off the shelf product you can buy but i don’t personally know of one. A more expensive way would be to have the pipes replated.
I know it sounds crazy but try some coca cola.
fine steel wool and a polish when done it works great!
Buy some 000 steel wool and some glass cleaner.Make sure it is 000 the finer stuff.Spray the glass cleaner on the spot you want to clean and scrubb with the steel woll.Wipe of with a towel and look at them shine.
like the others said, fine steel wool and glass cleaner. it won’t turn out on exhaust, but on other parts that don’t get too hot, you can even buy a spray bomb of clear coat to go over top when it’s all cleaned up to prevent it from coming back as quickly… when the clear coat gets scratchy or not as nice you can always do the same process again, but it won’t be near as often
