Check with, Head Winds or Thunder Stix
Both offer H.D. aftermarket lighting.

You may have to wait a while for the aftermarket to catch up to your bike.

I only wonder why right out of the gate, a NEW Harley owner wants to *customize* their bike. Ride the damn thing, do custom work later

Have you checked J&P, Custom Chrome, or any of the "cutting edge" shops? I haven’t bought in a long time (make my own) but I know they have revamped many of the catalogues.

Or, have you considered removing the stock part, bead blasting, and send it out to a chrome shop to have it chromed?

The Harley Parts book has alot of customizing stuff in it….

Here’s a "Tip" ….alot of guys will change the Air cleaner & Exhaust…. ( Screamin Eagle )

Beware…by doing that , you mess up the Air/fuel mixture….

Then you need it "Re mapped" which costs around $500

The Bike I bought had the stuff changed , but they didn’t

remapp it….it was running a little lean ( not good )

I had the Harley Dealer put in a "Power Commander"

and they tuned it in on a Dyno….Runs great now…

Sounds like your part could be made outa Aluminum and

then Polished out…..or steel and have it Chromed….

I picked up my FXD35 on July 1 last year.
Nothing fits the front end. (Yet)
If you do find something, please e-mail me. I’d like to know.

As to why people change things, there are many reasons.
A bad seat makes a good bike into a bad ride, for example.
