Where can you buy vintage Harley Davidson parts?
I just got a 1974 Harley Davidson SX 175 enduro bike. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to buy parts to restore this bike. I have been searching the web and cant find any good places to buy parts.
You have a challenge on your hands as those bikes were actually build by an Italian company and parts are harder to find. If you have newsgroup access I would check something like rec.motorcycles.harley. But be careful if you post over there. Make sure you read the FAQ first and never forget to buy the house a round of virtual drinks when asking a question. If that doesn't work for you try looking through all the ads in the many V-twin magazines. I think I've seen a couple ads in them for the non- Harley Harleys.

In less time than it took to ask this question, I did a search on Yahoo for harley davidson 175 parts and found

and you want to look under the Ameracci models as the 175 isn't really a HD.
Amereci in Italy made those bikes. I restored a 74 Sprint not long ago and I got all the parts I needed. You just have to keep searching. I have alot of SX 175 parts.
