I own a 1975 xlch sporster also.I have got alot of my parts from J&P. They have a vintage catalog that i have used mostly. Try jirehcycles.com. and v-twin they have alot of stuff too.I don’t know where you live either but Canton custom,cherry ave.Canton Ohio can get lots of stuff…Your local HD dealer will usually tell you that your parts are obselete .
you can Jireh cycles is the place.J&P is expensive .They are retail outlet .Jireh cycles will beat there prices hands down
