is waaaaay too lean. engine damage will result if u dont correct this problem pronto. if its fuel injected, u need a power commander or have the dealer remap it. carbs need a rejet. dont ride the bike far until this is corrected
If they are glowing at the first elbow i wouldn’t worry over much, unless they are visable in the daylight. If you can see it in the day time you might be getting raw fuel through the cylinder from a malfunctioning carb. That is if it happens in the first few minutes the bike is running,if its after you ride for a while its prob. nothing.
Well I Hope you’re kidding, but in the event you,re not, You Have A Serious Lean Condition!!
This could be caused by the change of pipes w/o re-jetting,but if your pipes are red hot you probably have an intake manifold leak, very likely both.
Take a look at your spark plugs, the ceramic area that surrounds the electrode should be a tan color about the color of dry cocoa mix. My guess is that yours are white with gray speckles(the sign of lean caused overheating.
Check/change intake seals and jet up until your plugs are tan colored.
One last thought, If you did’nt replace your exhaust gaskets and or poorly fitted the pipes to the heads ,you may be sucking air at the exhaust port.

It’s too lean, need to rejet carb. for new pipes.

Cuz it’s cheap chrome plated plastic crap. Like the rest of the bike.
First check to see if you left the choke on and then next have the carbs re-jetted because you replaced the stock pipes.

Karma payback for putting Idiotically loud pipes on your bike.Reap what you sew
Stop dropping acid.
Check your valve adjustment too. When your pipes get that hot it will also ruin the chrome on them.
